STORYLINE
Hallam Foe is a 2007 British drama film, based on the novel of the same name by Peter Jinks. The movie, with 95 minute runtime, stars Jamie Bell, Sophia Myles, and Ciarán Hinds in the lead roles. The audience will be taken into the life of a man named Hallam Foe.
Foe (Jamie Bell) is a 17-year-old teenager who still struggles with the loss of his mother, as she tragically drowned in a lake near their home. His grief leads him to blame his stepmother, believed to be responsible for the death of his biological mother.
Trying to escape his sadness, Hallam starts doing unusual things. One of these is climbing onto his house's roof to spy on his neighbors.
Among the houses he watches, he spots a woman named Kate Breck (Sophia Myles), who bears a striking resemblance to his mother. This discovery leads Hallam to become fixated on Kate. He tries everything to connect with her, and their relationship soon turns into a romance.
