Savage Grace

Director Tom Kalin's "Savage Grace" is inspired by true events told in the novel of the same name by Natalie Robins and Steven M.L. Aronson. The movie tells the story of a mother who gets entangled in a forbidden relationship with her son. Starring Julianne Moore and Eddie Redmayne as the lead actors, this movie is exciting to follow.

The main character, Barbara Daly Baekeland (Julianne Moore), is married to billionaire Brooks Baekeland (Stephen Dillane). They have a son named Anthony (Eddie Redmayne), who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his childhood. As a result, Anthony is considered a failed child by his father.

The only person who could accept Anthony's condition was his own mother. The boy became very close to his mother even after he became an adult.

Another problem arose when Anthony's parents found out that their son was a homosexual. Trying to 'cure' him, Barbara madly seduced her own son so that he could be cured. Unfortunately, Barbara's decision turned out to be wrong.
