Womb

Womb is a science fiction drama film with a script written and directed by Benedek Fliegauf. Released in 2010, this German movie explores the story of a woman who struggles to move on from her dead lover and makes desperate decisions that make her life difficult.

The main character is Rebecca (Eva Green). After the death of her lover, Thomas (Matt Smith), Rebecca's life comes to a standstill. With no enthusiasm for life, she keeps thinking about her past love story. Unable to accept reality, Rebecca who works at a biotechnology company, takes an unusual path.

In an attempt to recreate her dead lover, she endeavors to create a clone of him. As the cloned Thomas is born and grows up, the boy becomes even more similar to the lover Rebecca misses.

This obviously messes with Rebecca's emotions and develops a complicated sexual relationship. Will Rebecca be able to revive her love story with the cloned version of Thomas?
