Avatar: The Last Airbender (Serial)

The exciting animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is now being turned into a live-action series by Albert Kim. There was a live-action movie in 2010, but it didn't get great reviews, especially for its storyline.

Fans are hopeful that this new series format, which allows for more time to tell the story, will do a better job than the movie. "Avatar: The Last Air Bender," just like its animated and movie versions, follows Aang's early adventures on his way to becoming the Avatar.

In this world, everyone has the ability to control one of the four elements: Water, Fire, Earth, or Air. People are grouped into four nations based on the element they control. The Avatar is unique, being the only one who can control all four elements and is responsible for keeping peace in the world.

After being gone for a long time, Aang, the last airbender, has to stop the Fire Nation from taking over the world. Turns out, he is the Avatar. Rescued by Sokka and Katara, a brother and sister team, Aang sets out on his journey to become a true Avatar.
