1. Love Upon a Time

Love Upon a Time

In his two decades of life, Nakhun (James Supamongkon) never believed in superstitions. But his fate takes a strange twist when he suddenly gets transported nearly 400 years into the past. Despite being an ordinary college student, he somehow finds himself in the grand Kingdom of Ayutthaya.

Confused by the situation, Nakhun eventually figures out that he has taken the place of someone lost in time, named Klao. Interestingly, given their physical similarities, Nakhun starts to wonder if Klao might be his own past incarnation.

As he tries to find a way back to his own time, Nakhun adapts to living as Klao. Along the way, he unravels the mystery behind Klao's disappearance. While pretending to be Klao, Nakhun reunites with people who were familiar with him, like his close friend Phop (Net Siraphop).

Strangely enough, Phop bears a striking resemblance to Tinnaphop, Nakhun's future college buddy. But Phop remains unconvinced that Nakhun is the same person he knows due to their contrasting behaviors. This leads Nakhun to be cautious about revealing his true identity, especially around Phop.

As Nakhun searches for clues about the real Klao's vanishing and delves into the conspiracy that threatens the royal throne, he unknowingly becomes embroiled in a political struggle at Ayutthaya Palace.

Witnessing both the splendor and injustices of the kingdom saddens Nakhun. This also fuels his determination to aid the people suffering from these inequities. However, the more he immerses himself in the past's challenges, the clearer it becomes that his journey back home won't be as simple as he initially thought.

2. Bed Friend

Uea Anol (James Supamongkon) became withdrawn due to inner struggles with his biological mother and mistreatment by his stepfather. He remains distant from almost everyone, except for his best friend and younger sister. But Uea's attractive appearance draws many people toward him.

However, Uea is wary that they might be insincere players. Particularly, King Kunakorn (Net Siraphop), who's known for his playboy behavior, tends to irritate Uea. Yet, despite the annoyance, King stands up for and supports Uea when needed.

Over time, they find common ground and become cooperative colleagues. As their relationship evolves, they find it increasingly hard to ignore the passionate feelings they share. Eventually, they agree to become friends with benefits. But they set a rule from the start: no falling in love. Can they manage to uphold this agreement?

3. Middleman's Love

Middleman's Love

King and Uea are making a return in the spinoff series Middleman's Love (2023). However, this time, the spotlight shifts to Uea's close friend, Jade Jetanipatis (Yim Pharinyakorn). Jade has always found himself in the role of a peacemaker and go-between.

To start with, he holds the position of middle child in his family. Academically, Jade consistently earns average grades, placing him right in the middle of the pack. His job as a graphic designer seems to have plateaued without much chance for advancement.

In terms of appearance, Jade blends in within his social circle, whether it's among his siblings or friends. Consequently, he often ends up acting as a mediator or matchmaker for those around him.

Initially, Jade found this somewhat disheartening. However, as time went on, he embraced his role and came to accept his unique position. Romance wasn't something he had been expecting to find in his life.

Then, a new intern arrives at his workplace, Mai Pakin (Tutor Koraphat). Despite still being a college student, Mai is handsome and captivating. His popularity at the office skyrockets, even though he's only interning briefly.

Jade notices that Mai frequently glances at his friend Uea. Assuming his matchmaking role, Jade plans to intervene again. However, he aims to prevent Mai from getting close to Uea since Uea is already with King. But unbeknownst to Jade, Mai's interest is actually directed toward him, not Uea. Could this twist of fate turn Jade into the protagonist of his very own love story?

Sia Wut is involved with multiple wives and girlfriends. Phat's primary role is to ensure that each of Sia Wut's partners remains oblivious to the existence of the others.

With his clever strategies and resourcefulness, Phat has effectively managed this intricate task for quite some time. However, everything takes a turn when he encounters Cher (Four Sakonrut), an enigmatic woman with remarkable intelligence and insight.

Cher becomes Phat's new colleague, working as an executive assistant in the same office. Unbeknownst to Phat, Cher is an Infidelity Detective, known for exposing secret affairs. It doesn't take long for Cher to suspect that there's more to Sia Wut's personal life than meets the eye.

In this setting, James portrays Foei, another executive assistant in the same workplace as Phat and Cher. When Phat seeks assistance from Captain (Net Siraphop) to outsmart Cher, Foei consistently obstructs his plans, serving as Captain's longstanding rival.

5. Back

Back (2022) is actually a short film inspired by the song "ย้อน" (Back) by ZMaj. This brief drama is also known as Reverse or Rewind. Set within a cafe, it shares the tale of Net (Net Siraphop), an employee working there.

Net and his girlfriend, Yanin, are caught in a cycle of constant arguments. Amidst the sorrow caused by these ongoing conflicts, Net discovers solace whenever he's around Jame (James Supamongkon).

Jame, being a supportive coworker, has a knack for brightening Net's mood. Gradually, as time passes, a feeling of ease develops between them, ushering in a new chapter of their relationship.

6. Zomvivor

Zomvivor

In a realm where Thai dramas have rarely ventured before, Zomvivor steps up to the challenge with its daring zombie theme. This series showcases an ensemble of notable young Thai talents, including Zee Pruk, NuNew Chawarin, Max Kornthas, Tutor Koraphat, Gus (Jimmy Karn), Kin (Net Siraphop), James Supamongkon, and many others.

The narrative kicks off with the sudden outbreak of an enigmatic virus across the city. Infected individuals transform into zombie-like creatures, driven to attack indiscriminately.

Amidst this chaos, a group of surviving students band together, seeking refuge within the confines of an abandoned school building. Will they manage to outlast the onslaught, or will they fall victim to the infection one by one, becoming zombies themselves?

7. Mafia The Series: Guns and Freaks

Mafia The Series Guns and Freaks (2022)

James doesn't just stick to roles in teenage romance or boys love stories; he's also dabbled in action-packed dramas, even if they tend to have a comedic edge. Take for instance Mafia The Series: Guns and Freaks. Originally titled Puen Kol Lae Khon Phian, the show centers around Beam (Joong Archen), an unremarkable student.

Beam's world gets spun around when he receives news of his father's sudden passing, Rachen (Bird Wanchana). In his quest to untangle the enigma behind his father's mysterious death, Beam uncovers a startling revelation that shatters his reality.

What he finds out is that Rachen, who was once seen as a loving father, actually held the position of leader within the notorious Nemesis gang, Thailand's largest criminal syndicate dealing in a variety of illicit activities and acts of terror.

By default of being his father's only heir, Beam unexpectedly becomes the designated successor to lead the organization. He's thrust into a shadowy realm he never could have foreseen.

Despite his apprehension, Beam discovers unexpected allies and kin. He forges connections with various members of the gang, including Tan, Fai, and Nat (James Supamongkon).

Although James' part might be on the smaller side, where else would we be able to catch him in an action-oriented drama if not in Mafia The Series?

8. Oxygen

Beer Oxygen series

Derived from the novel penned by Chesshire and Suki, this series introduces us to a multi-dimensional narrative with more than one main character. The journey starts with Gui Jirayu (Petch Chanapoom), who has faced the challenges of orphanhood from a tender age. Now, he's a fourth-year engineering student.

Despite life's challenges, Gui continues to wear a smile. His compassion for others remains steadfast, and he's quick to lend a hand whenever someone is in need.

Another main character is Solo (Nut Supanut), a freshman delving into music studies. Possessing wealth, fame, and striking looks, Solo seems to have it all. Yet, his smile has vanished since his mother's passing, leaving a void in his heart.

Then comes a rainy night that changes everything. Solo visits a café for a cup of coffee, and in that moment, Gui and Solo's paths cross for the first time. The warmth of Gui's smile, coupled with a cup of steaming coffee, entices Solo to return to the café every night.

Gui, too, unintentionally anticipates Solo's nightly visits. The two young men's lives become intertwined as they regularly convene at the same place and time. Their existence becomes akin to a single breath, seamlessly merging. This meeting becomes an indispensable source of vitality for them, much like oxygen itself.

James plays a supporting role in this drama, portraying Beer, Gui's steadfast best friend. Beer consistently aids Gui, even when it involves addressing issues with Solo.

Those are shows that James Supamongkon has been a part of. While James has made appearances in a few other dramas, they were only small roles. We hope James will take on more projects in the future, so we can relish the additional shows he's been a part of.
