Written by Gerryaldo

Ever wondered what makes Korean movies on Netflix different from Netflix's own Korean originals? It's all about who makes them. Regular Korean movies on Netflix are created by film studios in South Korea. Netflix then buys the rights to show these movies globally on its platform.

But, when it comes to Netflix's own Korean movies, Netflix handles everything. They're in charge of both making and funding these films. This means they oversee the entire process, from the first idea to how the movie is released. These Netflix special films are usually aimed at audiences all over the world.

We're here to talk about the newest original Korean movies that you can watch only on Netflix. Stay tuned to find out which movies have made the cut!

The film is directed by Yeon Sang Ho, known for his popular movies like "Train to Busan," "Peninsula," and "Hellbound." "Jung_E" holds special significance as it is the last film featuring actress Kang Soo Yeon, who passed away on May 7, 2022.

Carter is then given a mission by the voice in his ear: to find a child named Jung Ha Na and deliver her to North Korea. He's warned that if he doesn't follow the orders, he could explode at any moment because of a bomb implanted in his body.

Throughout his mission, Carter is torn. He can't figure out if this mysterious voice is a friend or a foe. This really hits him when he's trying to save Jung Ha Na, leading to a huge dilemma. Carter starts questioning his choices: is he doing the right thing, or is he just a pawn in someone else's game? It makes you wonder what's really going on with Carter, doesn't it?
