STORYLINE

Pierce Brosnan shows us that he's not just a great 007 agent, but also an actor who can play a stranded man in distress, like he did in the movie "Robinson Crusoe". This film is based on the novel by Daniel Defoe, and it's about a man trying to survive on a deserted island.

Robinson Crusoe (Pierce Brosnan) is a cargo ship worker who faces a disaster at sea. His ship is hit by a cyclone and sinks, leaving him all alone on an unfamiliar island near New Guinea. On his first day there, he meets a man from a local tribe. Crusoe names him Friday (William Takaku).

At first, they're wary of each other, but they soon become friends. Crusoe learns that Friday had to run away because his tribe wanted to sacrifice him. Together, they face many tough situations. Can they find a way off the island?
