Cannibal Ferox

"Cannibal Ferox," a movie from 1981, is an Italian horror film famous for its intense and shocking content. Directed by Umberto Lenzi, it was so graphic that it was banned in over 30 countries. The movie is about a group of young people who explore cannibalism myths and find themselves in a terrifying situation.

Rudy (Danilo Mattei), Gloria (Lorraine De Selle), and their friend Pat (Zora Kerova) are anthropologists. They head to the Colombian jungle to study a native cannibal tribe. But upon arrival, they discover that this tribe is enslaved by a drug mafia.

Despite being confused and concerned, the trio pushes on with their journey. Eventually, the enslaved tribe members get fed up and start to rebel. The drug traffickers don't see it coming. Once the violence erupts, the three anthropologists get caught up in the brutal and sadistic world of the cannibal tribe.
