Tick, Tick... Boom!

Jonathan Larson is a writer with big dreams in the theatre world. This then inspired director Lin-Manuel Miranda to create a film about his life. This resulted in the semi-autobiographical musical film "Tick, Tick... Boom!" starring Andrew Garfield who has earned high praise for his role.

In the film, Jonathan Larson (Andrew Garfield) is a musician racing against time, trying to make a name for himself before he turns 30. He's busy with music workshops, teaching gigs, and even advertising work – he's doing it all. Alongside his professional struggles, Jonathan is also dealing with personal challenges.

Despite the difficulties, Jonathan's passion never fades. He keeps pushing forward, writing new songs and learning to accept his situation. When he turns 30, he finally receives some exciting news. His music career is about to take off with his new project, "Tick, Tick... Boom!" (which leads to the creation of "Rent"). Tragically, he passes away before he can witness the success of his famous musical.
