The story focuses on Kim Jo Jo (Kim So Hyun), a high school girl who's had a hard life. She lives with her aunt after losing both her parents. Her best friend, Lee Hye Young (Jung Ga Ram), has a secret crush on her.

Hwang Sun Oh, who is Hye Young's best friend and a new student at the school, quickly becomes popular because he's very good-looking. Many girls at school set off his Love Alarm app, showing they like him, except for Kim Jojo.

This romantic drama is inspired by the webtoon "Joahamyun Woolrineun" by Cheon Kye Young. An interesting fact about this drama is that the Love Alarm app actually exists in real life and can be downloaded from the Play Store.
