Johnny Z

The United States brings its own unique take on the zombie genre with the film "Johnny Z." This 95-minute movie, directed by Jonathan Straiton, features a talented cast including Michael Merchant, Felix Cortes, Jason Delgado, David E. McMahon, and others. The plot centers on a man who is transformed into a zombie and embarks on a journey of vengeance.

Johnny (Michael Merchant) is an ordinary man who becomes an unwilling participant in a medical experiment. His involvement is part of an effort to develop an antidote to a zombie outbreak that has devastated global civilization. The experiment is a success, but it leaves Johnny as a hybrid being, part human and part zombie.

Realizing the potential consequences of further scrutiny, Johnny escapes the medical facility, intent on finding a cure for himself. As he continues his search, his initial goal of healing gradually shifts to a burning desire for revenge against the scientist who caused his transformation.

He is not alone in his quest. Johnny joins forces with Jonray, a martial arts grandmaster portrayed by Felix Cortes, and his brother Crisanto (Jason Delgado). Together, they embark on a perilous mission, confronting the challenges that lie ahead.
