Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, originally a captivating Japanese manga series by Haro Aso with illustrations by Kotaro Takata, has been transformed into a live-action version by Yûsuke Ishida. This adaptation, available on Netflix, enthralls viewers with its portrayal of a zombie apocalypse in Japan.

The story is about Akira Tendo (Eiji Akaso), an office worker trapped in a monotonous routine. Akira's life is filled with boredom, compounded by the constant pressure from his colleagues and boss, which leaves him stressed. Additionally, his insecurities prevent him from confessing his feelings to the woman he admires.

However, Akira's life takes an unexpected turn when a widespread virus sweeps across Japan, turning people into zombies. Rather than succumbing to fear, Akira sees this as an opportunity to start anew. Embracing this chaotic change, he decides to live life on his own terms, setting out to complete all 100 items on his bucket list before it's too late.
