Blood & Gold

Blood & Gold is a war movie set in World War II. The 100-minute movie directed by Peter Thorwarth tells the story of a defector who turns against his own unit for revenge.

After being betrayed and nearly killed by the Nazis, Heinrich is miraculously saved by Elsa (Marie Hacke), a local who witnesses his dire situation.

After being rescued, Heinrich promises to revenge the Nazi soldiers and retrieve the gold left behind by the Jews who were pursued by the soldiers. However, their mission is fraught with danger. Elsa is captured by the leader of the army, and Heinrich tries to save her.

Successfully poisoning the leader and creating chaos, Heinrich and Elsa escape, leaving the gold behind. They set up a situation where the soldiers end up turning against each other in pursuit of the abandoned treasure. In the end, Elsa and Heinrich build a life together, including Heinrich's daughter, whom they reunite with after a long separation.
