The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, prompted many moviemakers to create stories about the incident. One of these movies is "Worth," a biographical portrayal of the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund.
After the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Congress appointed Kenneth Feinberg (Michael Keaton), a well-known lawyer and mediator, to lead the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund. His job is to distribute the monetary resources to the victims and their families.
However, a seemingly easy task becomes one of his toughest challenges. Kenneth, along with his law firm's chief operating officer, Camille Biros (Amy Ryan), must navigate the difficult task of putting a value on life to help families who have suffered unimaginable losses. Can Kenneth fulfill this task without getting emotionally entangled?
