What Lies Beneath

Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Norman (Harrison Ford) are a couple living in a picturesque lakeside house. Despite the idyllic setting, Claire finds herself troubled by eerie occurrences and haunted by a mysterious female ghost.

Norman, a professor skeptical of supernatural phenomena, leaves Claire to investigate the strange happenings on her own. Claire eventually uncovers a shocking truth: the ghost is a young woman who was once involved with her husband.

Norman confesses to the affair, claiming the woman took her own life near their home. He admits to submerging her body and car in the lake. But the question lingers: Is Norman telling the complete truth? And what steps will Claire take next?
