Wednesday Addams, a character beloved by mystery story enthusiasts, has been a part of The Addams Family lore since the 1960s. Fast forward to 2022, and director Tim Burton revitalizes this classic story with a modern angle.

Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) misbehaves again in public school; so she is sent to a special school for 'special' children called Nevermore Academy. Here, she finds a variety of students with mystical powers, even monsters. Wednesday is not interested at first, but a case of a monster threat arises.

Wednesday becomes curious about the monster and tries to find out what the school is really hiding. During the investigation, Wednesday discovers a lot of information, one of them is about the inheritance of the power she has from her mother. Through this ability, Wednesday solves the monster case.
