The Witcher (Season 1)

This special Netflix fantasy drama, which first aired in 2019, is based on a novel of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.

The story follows Geralt (Henry Cavill), a human born to a witch named Visenna (Frida Gustavsson). Geralt makes a living by hunting and killing monsters on the Continent.

Although in the witch's bloodline there is a custom to crush humans, but he refuses to do that. Geralt does not see humans as monsters. However, circumstances force him to break this tradition when he's in a tough situation, which leads him to kill a princess. This act gives him a reputation as a ruthless wizard and brings the entire region into chaos.

To clear his name, Geralt goes on a mysterious mission. Can he make things right again?
