STORYLINE
The Pale Blue Eye, a mystery movie, was directed by Scott Cooper. It's based on a book by Louis Bayard with the same name. The movie, which lasts for about two hours, is about a detective who is looking into several murders at the U.S. Military Academy.
The story is set in 1830 at West Point. Detective Augustus Landor, played by Christian Bale, is asked by the Military Academy to find out how one of their students, Leroy Fry (Steven Maier), died. At first, everyone thinks Leroy killed himself. But, after a closer look, they find out he was actually killed.
Detective Augustus works with Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling) who is interested in the murder. They work together to find out who really killed Leroy.
The story gets more interesting when Edgar finds an important clue about a secret meeting connected to the murder. Who could be the person responsible?
