The Little Mermaid (Live Action)

Everyone knows the classic tale of Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid. Now, it comes to life in a live-action film featuring a beautiful mermaid named Ariel (Halle Bailey).

Ariel is fascinated by humans and the world above the sea. This worries her father, King Triton (Javier Bardem). He believes humans are dangerous, a fear rooted in a tragic past event where Ariel's mother was captured and killed by humans.

Despite her father's concerns, Ariel still dreams of living on land and becoming human. Her wish grows stronger when she falls in love with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King), whom she met by chance.

Driven by her desire, Ariel trades her voice for human legs to join the land dwellers and meet Prince Eric. However, this transformation comes with several risky conditions. Will Ariel succeed in her mission for love and a life on land with Prince Eric?
