Maleficent

Once upon a time, there was a kind fairy named Maleficent who fell in love with a human, Stefan. But their story took a dark turn when the king announced a challenge: whoever defeated Maleficent would become his son-in-law. Stefan joined the contest and tricked Maleficent by taking her wings, proving he had beaten her.

Feeling deeply hurt by Stefan's betrayal, Maleficent transformed into a vengeful fairy. Meanwhile, Stefan married the king's daughter and they had a baby girl named Aurora.

In her anger, Maleficent cast a spell on baby Aurora. On her 16th birthday, Aurora would prick her finger on a needle from a spinning wheel and fall into an endless sleep, only to be awakened by true love's kiss.

As Aurora's 16th birthday approached, Stefan did everything to protect her, including getting rid of all spinning wheels and needles. He even sent Aurora to live in the forest to escape the curse.
