The Killer (2023)

The Killer is an American neo-noir psychological crime thriller film directed by David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker.

Adapted from a series of French graphic novels written by Alexis "Matz" Nolent and illustrated by Luc Jacamon, The movie stars Michael Fassbender as a hitman who's been assigned a murder but fails in his mission.

Because of this mess, his boss, Hodges (Charles Parnell), gets furious and sends people after him. The hitman escapes to the Dominican Republic, but tragically, his girlfriend falls into the hands of his hunters and is tortured.

Fueled by rage, the hitman vows revenge, he killed all those involved, including Hodges. With help from Hodges' secretary, he uncovers the identities of those responsible for his girlfriend's torture.

However, after finding Hodges' men in New York, the big final fight happens in New York, where the hitman faces off against Hodges' men. He defeats all of them, ending his life of crime. Now, he just wants to live quietly and happily with his girlfriend in Dominica, leaving behind his old life for good.
