Purple Hearts

"Purple Hearts" is a movie directed by and featuring Sofia Carson. It's based on a novel with the same title by Tess Wakefield.

The film tells the story of a couple who get into a 'pretend' marriage. Luke (played by Nicholas Galitzine), a soldier, and Cassie (Sofia Carson), a bar worker who dreams of being a singer, are the couple in question.

They both have their eyes on the benefits offered to married military members. So, they decide to go ahead with a marriage of convenience. But their plan turns out to be more complicated than they thought, as various problems pop up. One major issue is the secret of their 'fake' marriage getting out, leading to Luke losing his job.

As they tackle these challenges together, Luke and Cassie unexpectedly fall in love. What will happen with their pretend marriage? How does their story end?
