STORYLINE

Vishnu faces a devastating tragedy when his father, mother, and younger sister are killed during a riot. Looters attack his family's shop, resulting in Vishnu being the sole survivor as his parents perish in a fire that engulfs the shop.

Haunted by severe trauma, Vishnu struggles with depression and starts seeing mysterious visions, including the ghostly figure of his sister resembling a Pocong, a type of Indonesian ghost. Each sighting of the pocong strengthens Vishnu's resolve to seek revenge for his family's deaths.

However, this horror film, directed by Monty Tiwa and Rudi Soedjarwo, does not make it to Indonesian theaters due to censorship by the LSF. The 90-minute movie is banned from screening because it dig deepers into sensitive political issues, particularly depicting the May 1998 riots.
