Nim's Island

"Nim's Island" is an exciting American adventure movie directed by Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. The 96-minute film is based on a children's book by Wendy Orr. It's about a young girl's adventure on a deserted island as she seeks a way to escape.

The main character, Nim, is played by Abigail Breslin. She joins her dad, a marine biologist, on a scientific mission to an island. They are the only people there, but Nim keeps busy by making friends with animals, chatting online, and reading.

One day, her dad goes out to sea for research, but a sudden storm strikes, and he doesn't come back. This leaves Nim alone and scared.

Looking for help, Nim emails Alex Rover, hoping for a rescue. But she accidentally sends the email to a different Alex, played by Jodie Foster. The question is, will this Alex come to help Nim, who's stranded and struggling on the island?
