New Tales of Gisaeng

Directed by Son Moon Kwon, this drama series is an adaptation of Lee Hyun Su's novel of the same name. Airing on SBS, the show stars Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, and Han Hye Rin, where the story focuses on the main female character who is a Geisha.

Dan Sa Ran (Im Soo Hyang) never imagined she'd become a geisha. After her mother passed away and conflicts arose with her half-sister, Sa Ran chose to study classical dance. Her elegant dancing caught the eye of a Chief Gisaeng, who was scouting for talent for his gisaeng house. This house catered to VIP customers, so only the most impressive dancers were selected.

While working at the Gisaeng house, Sa Ran meets Ah Da Mo (Sung Hoon). His arrival brings significant changes to her life. Will there be a romantic spark between Ah Da Mo and Sa Ran?
