Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Gates is a history buff and treasure seeker who loves cracking codes. As a kid, his grandpa shared a fascinating story. Their ancestor got a special map from Charles Carroll, which lead him to a legendary American treasure, the Knights Templar Treasure.

Fast forward thirty years, grown-up Ben teams up with Riley Poole, a whiz at computers. They go on an exciting mission for the treasure, funded by Ian Howe, a rich businessman.

Their journey, packed with adventures, isn't smooth sailing. The treasure they're after is incredibly valuable, and this leads to disagreements and splits in the group. Who ends up finding the treasure? And is this treasure truly worth all the trouble?

Directed by Jon Turteltaub and starring Nicholas Cage, this movie is a rollercoaster of thrilling adventures that keeps you hooked till the end.
