The story is about Richard, a man in his middle years who is happy being single. But his life takes a turn when a friend challenges him to bring a date to a wedding. To prove his point, Richard uses an online dating site and meets Arini. They go to the wedding together, but due to a mistake on the dating site, Richard ends up hiring Arini to be his partner for 45 days.

Arini agrees to stay with Richard for these days, following the website's rules. During this time, Richard starts to really care for her, feeling a connection he didn't expect. Just as he wants to make their relationship more serious, Arini vanishes without a trace.
