Jack Reacher

Jack Reacher is a film series that helped boost Tom Cruise's popularity even further. Although he is well-known for his role in the "Mission Impossible" series, in Jack Reacher he convincingly plays a different character as he tries avoiding any overlap with his portrayal of Ethan Hunt.

In the story, a sniper causes havoc in Pittsburgh by randomly killing five people. Detective Emerson quickly finds evidence pointing to James Barr, a former military sharpshooter. During his questioning, Barr demands to speak with Jack Reacher, a former military investigator.

Upon arriving, Reacher joins forces with Helen Rodin, a lawyer, to dig deeper into the case. During their investigation, Reacher is unexpectedly assaulted. This assault suggests that some people want to ruin his progress. Things get worse when Reacher is framed as a murder suspect.

Faced with no other choice, Reacher must rely on his keen investigative abilities to track down the sniper and solve the mystery behind the tragic events.
