I Picked Up a Star on the Road

"I Picked Up a Star on the Road" is a fun South Korean drama directed by Kwon Hyuk Chan. Released in 2018, it stars the charming Sung Hoon and tells the story of an accidental kidnapping of a famous star.

Kim Ga Eun (Lee Yeon Seo) works at Bonjour, an entertainment company. Despite working really hard, Yeon Seo never gets the appreciation she deserves. She's often criticized and feels underappreciated. One day, after getting really frustrated, she ends up drinking at a bar.

On her way home, she mistakes a man for her annoying boss and accidentally attacks him. But, plot twist - the man is actually Kang Joon Hyeok (Sung Hoon), a well-known celebrity in South Korea. Yeon Seo panics, thinking she's hurt him badly, and ends up hiding him in her apartment.

What follows is a hilarious series of events where Yeon Seo finds herself in the middle of a kidnapping she never intended. As the whole country looks for the missing Joon Hyeok, Yeon Seo has to figure out a way to return the star safely without getting caught by the police.
