Hot Summer Nights

Released in 2018, this American drama features Timothée Chalamet, who gained fame from his role in "Call Me By Your Name."

Set in the summer of 1991, the film follows Daniel (played by Chalamet), who is mourning the loss of his father. He moves to Cape Cod to stay with his aunt for a while. Here, Daniel, naturally introverted and reserved, finds himself entangled in relationships with two girls simultaneously.

He crosses paths with Hunter Strawberry, a charismatic drug dealer who becomes his romantic interest, and Hunter's younger sister, MyKayla. Hunter and MyKayla have a tense relationship and rarely interact, a situation that Daniel sees as an advantage.

Daniel feels relieved that he doesn't have to worry about MyKayla discovering his involvement with Hunter, and vice versa. However, he is constantly on edge, knowing that his web of lies could unravel at any moment.
