Stanley was falsely accused of stealing a pair of baseball bats donated by a famous player. Despite his innocence, he is sent to Camp Green Lake, a facility for teenagers suspected of committing a crime.

Operated by Warden Walker, along with assistants and counselors, Camp Green Lake has a strange activity: digging holes in the earth.

Every day, the young inmates are assigned to do the digging, with the promise of a day off if they find anything significant. Although they were clueless about the purpose behind the digging, they obediently followed the instructions.

At the camp, Stanley joined a group of his peers who had distinctive nicknames such as Zero, Armpit, Zigzag, Squid, X-Ray, Magnet, and eventually earned the nickname Caveman. What is the meaning behind these tasks and the daily ritual of digging?
