Fans of true horror will recognize the V/H/S franchise. In 2023, it returns with its sixth installment, V/H/S/85, ready to give viewers goosebumps once more. This anthology film, using the found footage style, unveils five eerie TV documentary horror stories from the 1980s that have been unearthed and replayed.

The film begins in 1980 with a TV documentary that explores various mystical phenomena. Rather than entertain, it leaves its audience with lasting nightmares. Among the tales is "Total Copy," which depicts a group of scientists whose experiments inadvertently invoke the wrath of an ancient deity.

Next, there’s a chilling segment about a lake with the scary power to resurrect the dead, titled "No Wake/Ambrosia." Another segment, "TKNOGD," digs into the methods of contacting unseen entities.

This journey continues with "God of Death," a story involving the undead. The anthology concludes with "Dreamkill," a horrifying account captured on video about a murder.
