This Netflix hit tells the story of Lara Jean (Lana Condor), a high school student who has a secret crush on a schoolmate and writes love letters to her crush. However, the letters are never sent by Lara. Until one day, they are accidentally delivered!

Lara Jean is not the most popular girl in school and prefers to avoid drama. Despite having crushes, she never declares them outright, instead writing heartfelt letters to them and keeping them as mementos.

Her life changes when she enters into a fake relationship with Peter (Noah Centineo) to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. However, as time goes by, real feelings grow between Lara Jean and Peter. When another love letter reaches Peter, it brings their true feelings to light. In the end, Lara Jean and Peter openly declare their love.
