Thor

Thor, famous for his mighty hammer that summons lightning, is a Marvel superhero brought to life on the big screen by director Kenneth Branagh. The film tells the story of Thor's banishment to Earth, where he must prove he's worthy of his powers as the Son of Odin.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is seen as an arrogant warrior, much to the displeasure of his father, Odin (Sir Anthony Hopkins). To teach him humility, Odin sends Thor to live among humans on Earth.

During his time on Earth, Thor starts to appreciate his new surroundings. He even falls for a scientist named Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Jane introduces him to important life lessons about peace and respect for others, which transform Thor into a better person and warrior.

With a newfound understanding of his powers, Thor is ready to join the fight to save Earth. He takes on this challenge when a dangerous force, unleashed from his home world of Asgard by a reckless villain, threatens the planet.
