The World to Come

In the quiet area of Schoharie County, New York, a couple named Abigail and Dyer are dealing with the loss of their daughter. Their gloomy world gets a bit brighter when Tallie and her husband Finney, who don't have children either, move in nearby.

Abigail and Tallie start sharing their life stories with each other. Abigail is stuck in a marriage with Dyer, just getting by, while Tallie is under the control of her bossy husband. Their friendship grows and brings some happiness into their otherwise sad lives.
