This American series starring Elliot Page and Tom Hooper tells the story of a family of superheroes. They are on a mission to solve the mystery surrounding their father's death.

In 1989, seven children were born on the same day. A billionaire adopted them, transformed them into superheroes, and assembled them into a team called The Umbrella Academy. As they grew up, they were separated and scattered across Dallas.

Thirty years later, they reunite after discovering the mysterious death of their adoptive father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore). This matter unites them who have been separated for a long time. They come together to find out what's going on, while facing the threat of an impending global apocalypse.
