The Neverending Story

The 1990s had a lot of exciting fantasy movies, and among them was "The Neverending Story," directed by the famous Wolfgang Petersen and released in 1984. This story was inspired by Michael Ende's novel of the same name.

At the beginning of the story, we meet Bastian Bux, a 10-year-old boy played by Barret Oliver, who makes an extraordinary discovery while browsing in a bookstore - a magical book called "The Neverending Story."

Bastian is thrilled with the book and reads it with excitement. Without realizing it, he is taken into a thrilling adventure story. In this fantastic world, an evil force known as Nothing threatens to wipe out the colorful world of Fantasia.

On his journey, Bastian meets a young knight named Atreyu (Noah Hathaway). Together, they face the dark forces, battle an evil wolf named Gmork, and treat the ailing Queen of the Fantasia World, The Childlike Empress (Tami Stronach); so that the world of Fantasia is safe and remains colorful.
