The Meg

Imagine if a monstrous prehistoric creature, once at the top of the food chain, suddenly woke up and began terrorizing the modern world. This is the thrilling premise of Jon Turteltaub's movie "The Meg."

The plot kicks off with a deep-sea research venture funded by billionaire Dr. Zhang (Winston Chao), aiming to explore the depths of the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the ocean. The project attracts various experts, including skilled diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham).

During their expedition into the trench, something happened. The thermocline layer, which divides cold and warm ocean waters, is disturbed, unleashing a gigantic, ancient Megalodon. Now, it's up to Jonas and his team to stop this massive shark from causing further chaos and danger. They embark on a mission to capture and eliminate the Megalodon before it can cause any more harm.
