The Mechanic

Jason Statham is back in action in the film "The Mechanic," a thrilling action movie directed by Simon West. This film, released as a remake of the 1972 movie with the same name, features Statham as Arthur Bishop, a skilled and meticulous professional assassin.

Arthur's initial task is to eliminate a Colombian cartel boss hiding in Louisiana. After successfully completing this mission, he faces a daunting new challenge: to kill his own mentor, Harry (Donald Sutherland), due to a botched mission in South Africa. Arthur is adamantly against this but realizes there are consequences for defying the order.

To create an ally, Arthur decides to train Harry's son, Steve (Ben Foster), to become an assassin like himself. He plans for Steve to avenge Harry's death without implicating Arthur. However, this strategy backfires when Steve betrays Arthur. Left to fend for himself, Arthur must navigate through a web of betrayal and danger to tackle the threats surrounding him.
