STORYLINE
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is a fantasy adventure movie from 2012, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's 1937 novel. The movie takes viewers to Middle-earth, where a wizard leads thirteen Dwarves on a mission to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug.
The story is told by Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) to his nephew Frodo (Elijah Wood), it begins six decades earlier when Dwarf King Thrór (Jeffrey Thomas) and his people lived prosperously under the Lonely Mountain until Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch) destroyed their city and stole their wealth.
Driven by a desire to reclaim their homeland, the Dwarf King and his friends embark on a dangerous journey, with Bilbo tagging along on their adventure. Along the way, they find treasure and acquire weapons, including an Elven sword, to face Smaug. Through various challenges, they face enemies until the final battle that will decide their fate.
