The Green Inferno

It's a classic case of good intentions gone awry, as depicted in the film "The Green Inferno". The movie is about a group of young people with noble intentions who end up facing a tribe of cannibals ready to eat them.

"The Green Inferno" takes its inspiration from the Italian cannibal films of the late 70s and early 80s. The story kicks off with some students heading to the Amazon jungle in Peru. They're on a mission to protest against companies that are harming the jungle, like those polluting and chopping down trees.

They film their protest and share it on YouTube, which really gets people talking. But just when they're about to head home, disaster strikes. Their plane crashes deep in the Amazon, far from any help.

The students, including Alejandro (Ariel Levy), Kara (Ignacia Allamand), and Justine (Lorenza Izzo), find themselves in the middle of cannibal territory. Now, they face a tough choice: either try to escape or risk becoming part of the tribe.
