Spy

Adding comedy to a spy movie can make it more enjoyable, and that's exactly what Paul Feig achieved with his film "Spy". He cast Melissa McCarthy as the lead, playing a hilariously inept spy agent.

In the movie, Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is a CIA agent usually found behind a desk. She supports her field agent colleague, Bradley Fine (Jude Law), during missions. But things change when Bradley is killed by Rayna Boyanov (Rose Byrne), the daughter of a notorious arms dealer.

Driven by a desire to avenge Bradley and capture Rayna, Susan steps out from behind her desk for the first time to undertake a mission. Despite her inexperience, she finds herself not only infiltrating the terrorist's plan but also unexpectedly saving Rayna's life. This act of bravery leads to an unlikely friendship between them. By the end of her adventure, Susan earns the respect and admiration of her colleagues, who were initially doubtful of her abilities.
