Something in Between

"Something in Between" stands out with its unique blend of fantasy elements. Directed by Asep Kusdinar, the movie is about Gema (Jefri Nichol) who tries to win the heart of Maya (Amanda Rawles), an outstanding student whom he admires.

With the support of his best friend, Surya (Junior Liem), Gema tries various ways to seduce Maya. His efforts finally pay off when Maya finally agrees to be his girlfriend.

However, their love story encounters obstacles from people who are against it. Meanwhile, Abi, who lives in London, has a very vivid dream about Gema and Maya's love story. Fuelled by these dreams, Abi returns to Indonesia and sketches the faces along with the places in his dreams.
