Sharper

Sharper is a crime thriller film directed by Benjamin Caron and written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. Released in 2023, the movie explores the lives of five characters who come together in a grand scheme to defraud a billionaire from Manhattan, New York.

The main characters are Tom (Justice Smith), Sandra (also known as Sandy, played by Briana Middleton), Max (Sebastian Stan), and Madeline (Julianne Moore). Although they initially don't know each other, they're entangled in a plot of large-scale fraud.

The story starts with a couple, Tom and Sandra. Sandra tells Tom that her brother is in debt. Moved by her story and reminded of his own father, who was a billionaire, Tom decides to help.

However, it soon becomes clear that Sandra, or Sandy, is not who she seems. She's actually a con artist, secretly working with Max, an experienced swindler. Max’s girlfriend, Madeline, is also in on the scheme. Not one to remain passive, Tom starts to fight back. But will his efforts succeed?
