Sabtu Bersama Bapak

"Sabtu Bersama Bapak" is based on the novel of the same name by Adithya Mulya. The novel received positive responses and high ratings from readers, thus encouraging Maxima Pictures to adapt it into a film.

The movie revolves around Gunawan (Abimana Aryasatya), a father with two children, Satya (Arifin Putra) and Cakra (Deva Mahenra). Their family lives a happy and simple life until Gunawan receives bad news: he has cancer and only has one year to live.

In preparation for his death, Gunawan recorded many videos containing heartfelt messages and advice for his children. After his death, Itje (Ira Wibowo), Gunawan's mother, arranged for Satya and Cakra to watch the videos every Saturday to keep them connected to the memory of their father.

Little did the siblings know, the wisdom shared by their father influenced their lives as they grew up and achieved success. However, they remained unaware of a secret held by Itje. What is that secret? The movie explores the impact of love, loss, and family ties on the lives of its characters.
