Renfield

Nicholas Hoult plays R.M. Renfield, the devoted assistant to Count Dracula, portrayed by Nicholas Cage. Tired of his eternal bond with Dracula, Renfield longs for a normal life, just like anyone else. But leaving Dracula's side is easier said than done.

Then, one day at a café, Renfield is captivated by Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina). Inspired by this new feeling, he becomes determined to break free from Dracula's influence and live a normal life. However, when Dracula finds out, he's furious and vows to harm anyone who gets close to Renfield.

Directed by Chris McKay, this film is based on the original Renfield story by Robert Kirkman. While it draws inspiration, the movie doesn't directly connect to the classic "Dracula" novel by Bram Stoker, published in 1897.
