Nashiko Jippensha had to leave her home because her mother couldn't handle her noisy behavior. Luckily, her father had a solution. He offered her an old, unused warehouse he owned, which turned into a new home for Nashiko and her friends.

While cleaning the warehouse, Nashiko found a small talking bird. It turned out the bird was a mahjong spirit that had been quiet for years. The mahjong spirit invited Nashiko and her friends to play mahjong with it.
