Petualangan Sherina

Growing up in the 1990s, "The Adventures of Sherina" became one of my most treasured childhood memories. Thanks to Riri Riza and Mira Lesmana for creating such an amazing movie! The movie tells the story of Sherina (Sherina Munaf), a bright young girl who finds herself in a dangerous situation with her school rival, Sadam (Derby Romero).

It all starts when Sherina's family moves from Jakarta to Bandung because her father, Pak Darmawan (Mathias Muchus), gets a job as an agronomist in the garden of the wealthy Ardiwilaga (Didi Petet) family. Sherina feels sad because she has to leave her friends and start a new life in West Java.

At her new school, Sherina meets Sadam who often teases her. But circumstances make them form an unexpected friendship. Sherina and Sadam are then kidnapped by an accomplice of a cunning businessman who wants to control the Ardiwilaga plantation. Now, they must work together to escape the clutches of their kidnappers.
