Passages

Directed by Ira Sachs, "Passages" is a 2023 French romantic drama featuring Franz Rogowski, Ben Whishaw, and Adèle Exarchopoulos. The film explores complex emotions and relationships through the story of Tomas, who experiences love with both a man and a woman.

Tomas (Franz Rogowski) and Martin (Ben Whishaw) are a married couple who are very happy together. Tomas is a filmmaker and goes to a party where he meets a beautiful woman named Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos). He starts to have feelings for her and they begin an affair.

Martin finds out and they have a big fight. This leads Tomas and Martin to get a divorce. Tomas then marries Agathe, but he soon misses Martin too much. Unfortunately, Martin does not want to come back to him. Tomas ends up alone, as Agathe also leaves him.
