STORYLINE
Thailand is known not just for its Boys Love (BL) stories but also for creating captivating drama films, especially in the romantic comedy genre. One such film is "Panyi I Sea You," directed and written by Arinchai Rattanavijit. The film focuses on a doctor who falls for a local girl in his place of work.
The doctor, Park (Save Saisawat), is from Bangkok and is assigned to a Muslim fishing village called Koh Panyi in Phang Nga. He has to serve as a temporary doctor there. Dr. Park accepts the assignment and heads to the village, where he quickly becomes a beloved figure due to his excellent work.
During his stay, Dr. Park treats a patient who has a daughter named Jampoon (Ging Areeya Pholphutrakul). As they meet regularly, Dr. Park and Jampoon start to communicate more and gradually fall in love.
The dilemma comes when Dr. Park's assignment in the village is over, and he has to choose between returning to Bangkok or staying in the village to pursue his love.
